City Highlights
Take a walk to the Afghan Church via Gateway of India. This gateway is a monumental arch 26-metre high, built to commemorate the visit of King George V of England and Queen Mary to the city in 1911. After that, explore the Hanging Gardens, which is also known as Ferozeshah Mehta Gardens.
These terraced gardens are perched at the top of Malabar Hill and offer a beautiful view of the Arabian Sea, especially during sunset. Next, head on to Mani Bhavan and Prince of Wales Museum. This museum houses rare and ancient exhibits of Indian history as well as objects from foreign lands such as the Indus Valley Civilisation artifacts, relics from ancient India from the time of the Guptas and Maurayas.
