Kadmat Island
Kadmat is a summit of an underwater mountain where peace by their very nature to enjoy one's solitude. The blue water lagoon is encircling the invaluable wealth of colourful corals, coral habitats, the reef banks, unspoiled virgin beaches, the sun, and the moon!.
The most outstanding strength of Kadmat island lies in its marine wealth. Surrounded on the eastern and western side by large lagoons of spectacular beauty, long and sandy beaches that makes the place one of the ideal tourist destinations in the region. The coral reef systems and reef banks are very unique from an ecological perspective.
Tourism activities on the island are currently conducted in a controlled manner due to the very low carrying capacity of the island and the fragility of the ecosystem. Moreover, the transport infrastructure making accessibility very difficult.
Location: The island is situated 407 kms. far from Kochi (Cochin), Kerala. ('11* 13*' north latitude; '72* 48*' east longitude). One of the largest in the Lakshadweep group, Kadmat is 8 Km long and 550 m wide at the broadest point.
Scuba Diving: A wealth of relatively new, untouched dive sites in the world. There are opportunities for divers of all levels of experience, and most dive locations are within an easy boat trip from the shore. How To Reach: By Air: Kadmat island is basically a ship-based destination. Air and sea package connecting a flight from Kochi to Agatti. A boat from Agatti to Kadmat takes 45nml/2 to 4 hr.

By Sea: Kadmat (MWAP) package from the mainland (By ship) has been identified for staying tourists with its tourists' huts aesthetically situated in coconut palm groves in the beaches facing the lagoon.

Travel Planning: Visitors planning on an extended stay or long stay are requested to reserve accommodation for at least '3 to 4 Months' before their travel date. Resort is operational only seven months a year, between 01 Oct and 15 May.
